The Nu Rho chapter of Omega Psi Phi Inc.

The Nu Rho chapter of Omega Psi Phi Inc is located in Albuquerque NM.

This graduate chapter was founded in 1964. From the chapter's inception, the brothers of Nu Rho Chapter, informally known as "The Duke City Ques," have been committed to community service.

The photo above is from Albuquerque's 2018 Martin Luther King Day March. In addition to participating in event like this, the brothers of Nu Rho Chapter organize and sponsors a series of public service activities, including:

  • A twice-yearly Habitat for Humanity build day

  • On-going mentorship of high school and college students

  • Helping young people finance their education through vehicles such as an annual high school essay contest, a talent competition and a merit-based scholarship program.

In recent years, we also have responded to community needs by hosting forums to educate people of color on how to conduct themselves in the presence of law enforcement, and the importance of exercising the right to vote.

We plan to continue this tradition for years to come. If you have questions about our activities, or suggestions for ways we can better serve the community, please contact us.
